Afyon Kocatepe University Vocational School of Information Technologies was established in 2025 with the aim of preparing students for the future through programs focused on artificial intelligence and digital transformation. As of the 2025–2026 academic year, our school aims to provide a well-equipped education to our valued students through the “Game Development and Programming” and “Big Data Analytics” associate degree programs.
Dear students, our school is committed to training individuals with the qualifications required by the digital age by offering education that follows technological advancements, supported by an expert faculty and modern laboratories. We aim to strengthen your knowledge and experience while developing your skills. In addition, our goal is to provide education that enhances analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective decision-making skills, while giving you the highest level of professional experience through theoretical and practical courses.
Our Vocational School is located opposite the Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus on the Afyon–Eskişehir highway, offering a central location with convenient access, accommodation, and social and cultural facilities.
Programs
Game Development and Programming
The Associate Degree Program in Game Development and Programming is designed to provide students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in game design, software development, artificial intelligence, and game physics. Graduates of the program can be employed as game developers, designers, or technical staff in small, medium, and large-scale game development companies. They also have the opportunity to establish their own game studios as entrepreneurs and can continue their education in bachelor’s degree programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam.
Big Data Analytics
The Associate Degree Program in Big Data Analytics is designed to meet the growing demand for data generation and analysis driven by digitalization. The program equips students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as big data management, data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, training qualified technical personnel. Graduates can work as technical staff in fields such as data mining, data analysis and management, and business intelligence across the technology, finance, and public sectors. They can also continue their education in bachelor’s degree programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam.
